Cancellation Policy

 

CANCELLING AN APPOINTMENT

To cancel an appointment, please call or text 978 846-6962 or email info@thecrownedlotus.com at least 24 hours in advance. 


BROKEN APPOINTMENT/NO SHOW POLICY

A "broken appointment, no show" is someone who fails to cancel an appointment within 24 hours. Individuals who require treatment in a timely manner are inconvenienced by broken appointments/no-shows. Failure to appear for a scheduled appointment will be recorded as a "broken appointment/ no-show" in the client's chart. The client who missed the scheduled appointment will be charged 100% of the service booked.

*Please note we do not send out appointment reminders. If you have forgotten when your appointment is, please reach out. 


LATE  Cancellation 

Late cancellations for any reason (within 24 hours of the scheduled appointment) are considered a "broken appointment, no show". 100% of the service booked will be charged. If we (The Crowned Lotus) cancel an appointment with less than 24 hours' notice, we will grant you 20% off your next session. *Note there are a few exceptions to this policy (death in the immediate family, contagious illness, hospitalization, extreme weather advisory.

Our goal is to provide high-quality care on time. We had to implement an appointment cancellation policy to do so.

Appointments are in high demand, and your early cancellation will allow another person to receive timely care. This policy allows us to make better use of our clients' available appointments.


LATE ARRIVAL

If you arrive more than 15 minutes late for your appointment, it is considered a  "broken appointment, no show".

NON-TRANSFERABLE APPOINTMENTS
Appointments are reserved specifically for the individual who scheduled the session and may not be transferred or substituted with another person. If you are unable to attend your appointment, you must cancel or reschedule in accordance with our cancellation policy. This policy supports individualized treatment planning, appropriate scheduling flow, and eligibility requirements. Sending someone in your place is not permitted. In rare circumstances, exceptions may be considered but must be approved in advance by The Crowned Lotus. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation in planning ahead.
