What is Reiki?

“Reiki is a Japanese technique for stress reduction and relaxation that also promotes healing. It is administered by “laying on hands” and is based on the idea that an unseen life force energy flows through us and is what causes us to be alive. If one’s life force energy is low, then we are more likely to get sick or feel stress, and if it is high, we are more capable of being happy and healthy.” -The International Center for Reiki Training

A session is done on a massage table using any combination of laying on your back, laying on your stomach, and sitting up. The client’s comfort level is of the utmost importance. During a session you can expect to feel the practitioner’s hands gently resting on various parts of your body, as she works to establish balance in your energy field, remaining completely respectful of the client at all times. As the receiver of the energy work, nothing is expected of you. You may choose to participate in the work by talking with the practitioner or you may choose to simply relax and take the time to meditate or fall asleep.  The treatment feels like a calming radiance that flows through and around you. You may experience sensations of warmth, tingling, coolness. Reiki treats the whole body-mind-spirit creating many beneficial effects that include feelings of peace, security and well being.

What Is Distance Reiki?

Distance Reiki works the same as an in-person Reiki session except that the person receiving Reiki is not in the same room. Remember that Reiki is precisely directed energy. Think of it as the practitioner dropping a stone in the middle of the lake. The ripples are healing energy and they meet you at the shore. In Distance Reiki, it is the practitioner’s focus and intent to send the energy to the client, and that person’s willingness to receive it, that makes it work.

Take time for yourself to unwind and relax, or to focus your energy on healing a physical or emotional ailment in your life. Reiki can provide the clarity you’re seeking to walk confidently forward on your path to balanced living.

1 Hour Single Session- $125

30 Minutes Session- $65

(In office & Distance Reiki)

Receiving a Reiki treatment will not interfere or replace traditional medical care and can enhance other medical treatments. Reiki compliments all other forms of holistic healing.

First time Reiki clients require a 60 minute session.
